Presently.....

• The school in Creek Caliz, Izabal, will be finished in time for the children to start the 2027 school year in January.
• The new wing in the National Cancer Institute (INCAN) should be built by the end of December, just in time for a "grand opening" the first of the year.
• The nutrition program in the village of Quebrada Seca in Izabal is being organized and we hope it is implemented over the next month. Then stove and cooking utensils have been purchased, arrangements are being made with the food suppliers. and the volunteer personnel has been recruited. Every child in the village - all severely malnourished, will receive meals at the school. Those ages 0 to 5 will be brought in the morning for Incaparina ( a protein drink)
• Scholarships will continue benefitting children in PANAKIDS and AK'Tenamit.
• The warehouse in Massachusetts continues to receive donated medical equipment. We look forward to shipping it to Guatemala next year.
• SCORE medical missions will travel to Guatemala on December 27, 2026. They will be working in the villages of lake Atitlan, with a day of R&R in Panajachel  in the New Year.
