We support improvements to school facilities and learning environments, including classroom construction and building projects.

Elementary education in Guatemala is free but the lack of funds for books, clothing, educational materials and transportation makes attending school impossible for many.
Friends of Guatemala provides financial assistance for building improvements, scholarships and supplies to public and parochial schools.
These students have the opportunity to continue their education thanks to the scholarships Friends of Guatemala awarded. We believe that they will grow up to be important members in their community.
